Ty Rides Bike WITHOUT Training Wheels and Swimming Lessons!!!

Before we left for camp, Ty had been working on riding his bike WITHOUT training wheels!!! We were shocked when he asked to take them off and then started riding it so well. After we got back from camp he started riding all by himself without someone helping him start. Needless to say, most days we ride our bikes at least 2 or 3 times a day.
The day after we got back from camp we started swimming lessons. While we were at the beach Ty had watched Emma and taught himself how to kick and swim under water. Mrs. Cathy, our swim teacher was very excited for Ty and by the end of the 1st week told Ty that the 2nd week she would let him swim in the deep end. Emma also did great again this year working on dives and different strokes. We were so proud of both of them.

BEACH CAMP!!!

Beach Camp was a blast this year. We went to Garden City South Carolina, which is right next to Myrtle Beach. The great thing was my parents got to go with us again to watch the kids and my uncle lives in Myrtle beach which was perfect. The kids got to go and see Uncle Tom and Aunt Shirley and swim in their pool, lazy river, and the Myrtle Beach ocean!! They had so much fun.
On the last day there we went to the Garden City Beach, which was in walking distance, and MiMi found a baby sand crab that the kids could play with. Emma made it a home with a swimming pool and loved taking care of it. We collected shells and then went to clean up for our drive to Atlanta!! It was a wonderful trip, and a great way to start off the summer.

Ty's Last Day of Little Gym

Ty ended his Little Gym experience with a show night. On their last night they showed all of the sports elements they had learned to the parents. At the end of the night they put on the Olympic music, made a medal stand and called out each boy's name to receive a medal. It was SO CUTE!!! Ty was so proud of his medal.

Tball Awards

Emma tried out Tball this spring and needless to say I think Ty liked practicing with her team more than she did. Jeff did an incredible job being the head coach and the other players had a blast, however Emma decided this was not her thing. This is awards night in which the Phillips family racked it in!! Emma and Jeff both won door prizes and got trophies!!!! I think this was Emma's favorite part of Tball!!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Well after we came back from Disney it was Emma's last day of Kindergarten. These are her two teachers, Mrs. Laura and Mrs. Amy. I could not have picked two better teachers for Emma and she learned so much this year. I am so thankful that God knows what we need and when we need it.

OUR LAST DAY

Well our last day was sad and wonderful. We were sad to see our trip come to an end, but we had a wonderful time. On our last day, we woke up and went to a character breakfast called Chef Mickey. It was at the Contemporary Resort and Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy came around to each table. Our table was in the perfect location-we could see the castle from our seats. After breakfast we went and rode the favorite rides one last time and then we went to Epcot to get the puppet souvenir "we had to have". After that we went back to the hotel, rode the bus to the airport and came home. It was so fun and I think I could live at Disney World!!!

The end of the Pirate and Princess Party

Well, we're almost done only one day left. This is the end to our night at the Pirate and Princess party. It was so neat the kids were able to go and find jewels different places, meet characters, ride lots of rides, see this INCREDIBLE parade, and also see AMAZING fireworks!!
