We had a wonderful last full day in Texas. We went to Six Flags where Emma and Ty got to ride their favorites. Then we cooled off in Mrs. Pat's pool. After a great dinner where Emma realized she loved corn on the cob, we went to Blockbuster in our jammies and rented a Barbie movie that got watched twice and a Batman movie that didn't get watched at all!!! We have had a wonderful time here and are sad to leave, but excited to see our Daddy at home!!!!

Me, MiMi, Emma and Ty all riding a boat ride. We all loved it PaPa and Ty at the top of the tower. What you can't see behind them is the new Cowboys stadium
Me and Emma riding in the FIRST car on the shock wave!! Emma loved being first, but thought it was a little slow.
This summer we have been to 3 different water parks all in the DFW area. It is amazing how many water parks can be in a 20 mile radius. This day we went to a new place for us called Bedford Splash. It was so much fun and had a variety of things for all ages.
Emma has loved the characters for a long time, but now Ty has decided he loves them too. Every time he sees one now, he runs up to it and hugs it. Once again Ty's favorite ride!! He loves to put up his hands and scream on this one Emma was able to ride one of her favorites again,"the double loop one" Both Emma and Ty are now official super heroes. Emma is Super Girl and Ty, Superman
PaPa's birthday isn't really for a couple of weeks but we decided while we were here we would celebrate. Emma decorated a cake and Ty helped by putting the numbers on. PaPa loved it
We ended our evening with a great visit with Grammi, Poppi, and Grandma. We got to eat dinner with them, Celebrate Grammi's Birthday early and play outside while it rained off and on. Grammi loved her teacup, saucer, and dessert plate, but especially her card from the kids. We played baseball and were able to show them all of our tricks on the swings and bar. It was fun to see them and get to visit.
After having our wonderful Tea Party and going to Chuck E. Cheese we all came back to the house and went for a swim at "Mrs. Pat's Pool". She and her husband live next door to my parents and they go to the same church. Mark and Pat are so giving, kind, and generous and always say we are welcome to swim at their pool. The girls had a wonderful time jumping and swimming and playing and Ty was doing his now famous "fall in dive" and trying to swim to the side. I definitely have 2 water babies!!!
We had a wonderful time today doing so many things. First our friends Julia, Mallory, their mom Mary Ellen and their Mimi, Jeania all came over and the girls got all dressed up and went to a tea room for a tea party. While the girls were being so fancy Ty and Papa went to Chuck E. Cheese to have fun boys style!!

Emma pouring "tea" which was really princess lemonade. They also had grilled cheese fruit and chocolate cake for dessert. YUMMY!!!
We got to go to a small waterpark yesterday and it was so much fun. The kids loved sliding down the slides and floating in the lazy river.
The kids and I are in Texas again while Jeff is at Middle School Camp, and nothing is like swimming in your pajamas early in the morning. I heard some splashing around outside and thought, "wow they really are having a good time even though they're not in the pool" Then I looked out the screened in porch door and saw PaPa sitting there laughing while Emma and Ty were swimming in their PJ's. Papa is so much FUN!!!
We have had a week of sleepovers!!!! First our neighbor friend Adyn spent the night with Emma. Then Brittany Pelfrey askedEmma to spend the night at her apartment (Emma's first time to spend the night away from home without relatives). Since Emma got to go somewhere, Ty had to have a sleepover too! His was with Daddy. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute!!! Emma gettin ready to go to Pelf's. Her bags were packed 2 days in advance
Ty of course had to have a suitcase packed too!

We had a busy and wonderful 4th of July. Jeff started out the day mowing and we cleaned out the garage. Then we went to a Sunday School party for a class from our church. We finished the day having a cookout with all of our neighbors at our house and shot off fireworks. It was quite a day!! This is Emma at the SS party on the big waterslide they had
Ty and our friend Lauren had a big time too!

Ty loved throwing the snap fireworks on the ground and listening to them pop
The kids loved watching the adults set up the fireworks and seeing them go off
