Tball Awards

Emma tried out Tball this spring and needless to say I think Ty liked practicing with her team more than she did. Jeff did an incredible job being the head coach and the other players had a blast, however Emma decided this was not her thing. This is awards night in which the Phillips family racked it in!! Emma and Jeff both won door prizes and got trophies!!!! I think this was Emma's favorite part of Tball!!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Well after we came back from Disney it was Emma's last day of Kindergarten. These are her two teachers, Mrs. Laura and Mrs. Amy. I could not have picked two better teachers for Emma and she learned so much this year. I am so thankful that God knows what we need and when we need it.

OUR LAST DAY

Well our last day was sad and wonderful. We were sad to see our trip come to an end, but we had a wonderful time. On our last day, we woke up and went to a character breakfast called Chef Mickey. It was at the Contemporary Resort and Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy came around to each table. Our table was in the perfect location-we could see the castle from our seats. After breakfast we went and rode the favorite rides one last time and then we went to Epcot to get the puppet souvenir "we had to have". After that we went back to the hotel, rode the bus to the airport and came home. It was so fun and I think I could live at Disney World!!!

The end of the Pirate and Princess Party

Well, we're almost done only one day left. This is the end to our night at the Pirate and Princess party. It was so neat the kids were able to go and find jewels different places, meet characters, ride lots of rides, see this INCREDIBLE parade, and also see AMAZING fireworks!!

Princess and Pirate Party Continued

Emma wore her Cinderella dress and Ty wore a pirate shirt with his sword and hook. He was so cute on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. He has his sword and hook out ready to defend us from the pirates!! The parade was so neat, all of the princesses had their prince charmings, although the beast was still a beast??? Emma's favorite princess for the moment is Jasmine ( I think it's b/c her outfit shows her belly) so we waited in line for about 20 min to get this pic of her.

The Princess and Pirate Party!!!

Here we are getting ready to get on the bus for the Princess and Pirate Party at the Magic Kingdom. The party was a big event that you had to have tickets for so it limited the amount of people in the park. There were hardly any lines for the rides so that was a huge bonus, and the parade and fireworks were UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Day 7 Sea Racers, Blizzard Beach and our favorites

On Friday, our 7th day, we went and rode searacers at the Contemporary hotel. Searacers are little 2 men boats that you can drive. The kids LOVED them and every once in a while we would put them in our laps and let them drive. It was definitely a highlight. After the searacers we ate lunch at the Polynesian Resort and then went to Blizzard Beach for a while.

End of Day 6-Magic Kingdom and Fireworks Cruise

After the Animal Kingdom we went backed and napped at the hotel b/c we knew we had a full night ahead. After napping and dinner we went to the Magic Kingdom to do some of the things we had missed. Emma rode Thunder Mountain and we went to Tom Sawyer's Island. Emma of course loved the ride and the kids had fun exploring the island. After riding some rides we went on a Fireworks Cruise to end the night. It was just our family on the boat and we had snacks and got to see the Lake Light Parade and the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the lake in front of the Magic Kingdom. It was such a wonderful experience. The kids loved being on the boat and seeing the fireworks from an incredible view. All of the adults loved it and I particularly liked being able to ask our boat captain any question we wanted about Disney World.

Animal Kingdom Continued

One of Ty's favorite rides was the Kali River Rapids. The first time we all rode it and Emma and I got drenched. The second time just Ty and Jeff rode it and as you can see they got SOAKED!!! While they were riding this, PaPa, Emma, and I went and rode Everest. It was Emma's second time on it and she had so much fun. She let us know that the Gedi was not scary and that you barely saw it. She is so much more adventuresome than I thought she would be.

Animal Kingdom Day 6

On Thursday we went to Animal Kingdom. We started off with a character breakfast that was DELICIOUS and FUN and then we were off to ride the Safari!!

More of Epcot Day 5 and Hoop De Du Revue

Emma got to ride Test Track and Soarin at Epcot and loved both. We could put the ride photo on our photopass, so we got a pic of us on the ride. After Epcot we went to a dinner show called the Hoop De Du Revue. We all decided after seeing it that we would probably not choose it again, but they did have great food. Emma was chosen to ring the dinner bell to start the Revue. She got a certificate after it was over saying she helped open the show!!

Day 5 Epcot

On Day 5 we went to Epcot. Emma and Ty liked the Seas ride with Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush was hilarious. Epcot was having their International Flower Festival and was beautiful with all of the flower sculptures.

The Incredibles- Hollywood Studios Day 4

We had been looking for the Incredibles for awhile and every time we went to see them Frozone was there. Finally after the parade they were inside and Ty got to meet them. They loved his Dash constume and he LOVED them. After the parade we went back to the hotel to swim and then went to Downtown Disney for dinner. The pic of Emma and Ty with dogs is entirely made out of Legos.
