Well after postponing Sports Day 2 times b/c of rain, on the 3rd try we finally got to do it!!! It started out with each grade doing tug of war and then the 50 yard dash. After that they had a break and then divided into teams. Their were kids from each grade on every team and they would do an event like, egg in the spoon relay, or 3 legged race. After each event whichever place their team got, they would get a ribbon to put on a big safety pin that they wore around all day. I am proud to say that both Emma and Ty got 3rd place in the 50 yd dash!!!! Most importantly they both had a blast all day!!!

Okay. I know all about "Sports Day." Finally, something Canada and Alabama have in common.
Congratulations on both of the kids winning 3rd in the dash. (Nothing against Em because I think it's the camera angle, but Ty's running form is pretty impressive, isn't it?
Did y'all do something for the 4th in honor of the USA? I didn't know if you would eat barbecue or something.
