Fun with Friends

This past weekend, our friends, the Jenkins came up from Gardendale for a visit. All four kids have been friends since birth and are more like siblings than friends. We all had a wonderful time playing and baking and just being together.

Our Last Full Day in Texas

We had a wonderful last full day in Texas. We went to Six Flags where Emma and Ty got to ride their favorites. Then we cooled off in Mrs. Pat's pool. After a great dinner where Emma realized she loved corn on the cob, we went to Blockbuster in our jammies and rented a Barbie movie that got watched twice and a Batman movie that didn't get watched at all!!! We have had a wonderful time here and are sad to leave, but excited to see our Daddy at home!!!!

Me and Emma riding in the FIRST car on the shock wave!! Emma loved being first, but thought it was a little slow.

How Many Water parks are in Texas?

This summer we have been to 3 different water parks all in the DFW area. It is amazing how many water parks can be in a 20 mile radius. This day we went to a new place for us called Bedford Splash. It was so much fun and had a variety of things for all ages.

PaPa's Birthday and Six Flags Fun

Emma has loved the characters for a long time, but now Ty has decided he loves them too. Every time he sees one now, he runs up to it and hugs it.
Once again Ty's favorite ride!! He loves to put up his hands and scream on this one
Emma was able to ride one of her favorites again,"the double loop one"
Both Emma and Ty are now official super heroes. Emma is Super Girl and Ty, Superman

PaPa's birthday isn't really for a couple of weeks but we decided while we were here we would celebrate. Emma decorated a cake and Ty helped by putting the numbers on. PaPa loved it

Grammi, Poppi, and Grandma

We ended our evening with a great visit with Grammi, Poppi, and Grandma. We got to eat dinner with them, Celebrate Grammi's Birthday early and play outside while it rained off and on. Grammi loved her teacup, saucer, and dessert plate, but especially her card from the kids. We played baseball and were able to show them all of our tricks on the swings and bar. It was fun to see them and get to visit.

Swimming in Mrs. Pat's Pool

After having our wonderful Tea Party and going to Chuck E. Cheese we all came back to the house and went for a swim at "Mrs. Pat's Pool". She and her husband live next door to my parents and they go to the same church. Mark and Pat are so giving, kind, and generous and always say we are welcome to swim at their pool. The girls had a wonderful time jumping and swimming and playing and Ty was doing his now famous "fall in dive" and trying to swim to the side. I definitely have 2 water babies!!!

Chuck E. Cheese and Tea Parties

We had a wonderful time today doing so many things. First our friends Julia, Mallory, their mom Mary Ellen and their Mimi, Jeania all came over and the girls got all dressed up and went to a tea room for a tea party. While the girls were being so fancy Ty and Papa went to Chuck E. Cheese to have fun boys style!!
